Intending to walk around the pond at the Cleveland Museum of Art,
I set off in that direction
until this sight caught my eye and demanded to be photographed.
Along the way, a bit of rust called my name.
The curves,
twists,
angles
and sheer beauty of the Peter B Lewis Building at the Weatherhead School of Management of Case Western Reserve Univeristy held me spellbound.
I took a plethora of photos (yep...that many) and could have spent all day
watching the sun's progress reflected on the tiles.
Finally tearing myself away, other treasures were discovered.
The last time I was in Cleveland was in 2012 for my first India Flint workshop. The Glass Box of the Cleveland Museum of Art was filled with Martin Creed's Work No. 965: Half the air in any given space. Purple latex balloons filled the room, holding half the air in the space. Being somewhat claustrophobic, I was a bit concerned about entering the room, but overcame my fear and oh! what an experience it was. It was soon time to head back and get ready for another amazing day in class.
These are going to be such lovely memories, I have had classes with both Velma and India, but here in Oz.
