Stitching Summit 2014 - part 2

My mind is abuzz as I try to describe the past 2 days. Words and phrases keep flitting and zipping and whirling. All are appropriate, but none can adequately describe the experience. So I'll let the photos do the talking.

Today was to be our travel day, but Mother Nature has intervened to give us one more day together...for now. Enjoy!

  1. Looks as if you had a wonderful time ad achieved many things.

    1. It was the best of times Debbie. While there was much laughter and conversation, there was also a bit of serious art making, exchanging of ideas and the genesis of a group installation for some future date. Enjoy!

  2. Wonderful fragments of a joyful weekend ... art making with friends!! I love all the close ups of fabrics, stitches, beads and and and ... will await a larger reveal!

    1. I did tease a bit with all the detail shots, didn't I? The larger reveals will come...in time. The jars will opened in July when we gather in Cleveland for a Velma Bolyard/Aimee Lee workshop. Stay tuned!

    1. Tons and tons of fun Barry. The kind of laughter where tears stream and you almost wet yourself (not to be indelicate, sorry) from laughing so hard. Yep, it was that kind of weekend. Enjoy!

    1. A proper show and tell? Hmmm...bit difficult as no piece was completed. It was all bits - stitch on this one night, that another, mark on this now, that later. And the ideas that flew!

I must admit that I kept thinking that you, Susan, Pam and I really need to do this too...one day...in the next few years...
