Woooooooohoooooooo!!!!!!!!!! We have power back! Life can return to as normal as it ever gets with 4 year twins in the house and my studio need not sit there looking so lonely.
I remember the feeling when the power came on after the ice storm, wow, even laundry was fun to do and cooking was a treat. Made me so happy I wasn't a pioneer. Congrats for getting through, you certainly have gotten your fair share of lousy weather. Now it's happy studio time...
Liz - I happily did 4 loads of laundry yesterday, let the girls watch all the tv they wanted and thoroughly enjoyed a very hot shower this morning. More laundry and dishes await, but no complaints will escape my lips. I too am happy to have not been a pioneer. And am equally happy that this happened now rather than in January.
Fiona - I can honestly admit that I choked out a teary Thank You to the Connecticut Light & Power workers who restored our power yesterday morning. Silly of me, but it was such a relief. Never again will I take electricity for granted.
I bet that's such a relief xx
ReplyDeleteKathryn - It's a huge relief. Now back to reality with a week's worth of laundry, dishes, etc. Ahh....

ReplyDeleteSuch happy news! I'm so glad for you - nice to get life back on track; even if it does mean sorting out the house for a bit.
