Make A Print Saturdays

I had the most fun yesterday at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking. They're having Make A Print Saturdays one Saturday each month. The class is geared toward those, including myself, who really know nothing about printmaking, but are curious. Roxanne Faber Savage is conducting the 3 hour sessions and was a pure delight.

At the end of the class, I brought home 5 prints...well...2 originals and 3 ghosts.

Original #1
ink on acrylic plate

 Ghost of #1

 Original #2
white space achieved by hand tearing newspaper
and placing on fully inked plate

Ghost 1 of #2
removed the pieces of newspaper, flipped them so the inky
side was up and repositioned them on plate

Ghost 2 of #2
very little ink left on plate
