Hilton Head - beach walk

We headed over to the beach the other day so the girls could look for shells. While they skipped along, pausing only to add to their collection and marvel over some new treasure, I noticed the patterns the retreating water had left in the sand. Enjoy!

 

 

Patterns in the sand part 2

On our last day at the beach, I finally managed to rise before anyone else. I grabbed my camera and headed to the beach to enjoy the sun rise. As I strolled back, shapes in the sand caught my eye again.

This time the patterns reminded me of trees...trees created by the movement of water.
