Getting ready
to iron
one of the 89" wide pieces.
I did take a break for lunch
before beginning the second 89" wide piece.
Once ironed, my rusts were hung to be photographed
then folded nicely one by one to have a bit of rest
before beginning the real fun today.
phew! i'm exhausted just looking at it.
ReplyDeletewell done, lady!
Ha! Having the girls in school 9 am to 6 pm the past two days has allowed me to concentrate in the studio...and get a little taste of what it will be like when they start kindergarten in the fall [mimosas at my house when they board the bus!].
DeleteLast night I was so tired that I barely stayed awake to Skype with my husband, who is traveling this week. Needless to say, sleep came easily.
The results are great but the work involved is frightening! I love watching someone else work! your studio is looking good!
ReplyDeleteThe really frightening part [squaring the fabric, hemming and edging] has only begun. Stay tuned for more!
DeleteBy the way, how have your rust fabrics turned out? Or have you had time make more?
Yes, these pictures show a lot of work! Love the rusty circles.
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine! Can't remember the last time I spent 2 days ironing...if ever. And there's more to be ironed. Arg!
