Lovely layers! Hope the visit goes really well...
Thanks Fiona! The gallery director of the art guild that I'm a member of is visiting several artists' studios this morning to peruse and possibly select work to be exhibited in the guild's 90th anniversary show in May. Even if nothing of mine is selected, it will be great to see what he thinks.
Your studio looks beautiful! How can he resist! Hope it goes well.
Thank you! The problem is that since Thanksgiving I've been rusting away yet have not done anything else with the fabric. What is displayed is lengths of rusted cotton...rough torn edges and all. I'll let you know how it goes. Enjoy.
Jennifer, I love the patterns you are creating. I look at them and wonder what they would look like as a texture on metal.
Hey Estelle! If there's a texture that you'd like to try, let me know which photo, etc. and we'll play a bit...especially if you'd like to trade a bit... Thanks for stopping by the blog. Enjoy! Jennifer

thank you so much for the string story...it's a very strong contender!
You're very welcome! And what a thrill to be a contender. It was loads of fun to write the story.
