Do you collect rusty objects discovered at your feet when you go on walks too? That I do.
My rust addiction so far has been for the real or studio produced thing.
I'm sure my husband would be happier if it was for the color rather than the real thing. He's hoping the girls develop hobbies other than collecting rust. Ha!
Written as I exhaled the deep breath than I'd been holding while reading your words and envisioning the caravan of gypsy tents glowing in the sunlight as they play in the wind and all gathered exchange tales, laugh, dance and create even more gypsy tents.
Hi J I love how the door/window frames give the horizontal and vertical lines to the circle fabric...and give youbideas about how stitching or cutting or whatever might look. The surprise was very nice as well!
My brain has been too muddled again this week - with thoughts of the birthday to come on Saturday - to fully appreciate the play of hanging the rusty cloth over the window. My brain just thinks they look really cool. Hopefully, next week it will decide to work properly. For now, I'm happy to view the sun shining through, although thanks to you, now horizontal and vertical lines will be noticed more.
