Friday afternoon my curiosity won the battle over being patient and letting the tunic continue to rust. In fact, I wore it yesterday with leggings and boots. Threw it on over jeans this morning to get this shot.
I love the tunic now! My daughters like it too. Ellie has already asked to wear it so I may just have to rust a few shirts or dresses for them as well.
Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteI just discovered that people have found my blog because you have linked it to your own. Thanks. Nice rusty work you have here. Reminds me that I have some t-shirts I imprinted LAST year that I never got around to washing. I better get busy.
Pat - Glad to be able to steer people in your direction. Thanks for the kind words re: my rust experiments. Got a bunch of rust cotton that I need to figure out what to do with one of these days. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI've been following along as you created this beautiful tunic. Just wanted to click over and say how great it looks and it was fun to see how it developed.
ReplyDeletePerfect! It looks just right with jeans or leggings - interesting and stylish. And fun!
ReplyDeleteFiona - Thanks! Rusting this shirt now has me viewing my clothing differently...especially the things that haven't been worn in a bit.
ReplyDeleteGina - Thank you! I love the paper you've making. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
ReplyDeletewell, this is just wonderful. nicely printed!
ReplyDeleteVelma - Thank you! For a first try, it turned out okay.
