Fiberart International 2016 - part 1

Greetings from Pittsburgh! I journeyed out on Thursday to see Fiberart International 2016 and will be sharing my photos in a series of posts featuring 10 artists in each, with links to web sites when available.

I began at the Society for Contemporary Craft Thursday afternoon. This beautiful space is the perfect venue for art. It seems they've changed their lighting since my last visit in 2013 and the new lights played havoc with my camera. What resulted with a few pieces is that the colors are true in the full shots, but skewed in the details. I sincerely apologize to any of the artists whose work is not its true color as it appears here. There were also a few that I was unable to take an acceptable photo of.

The works are in order of how I viewed them. Ready?
