Searching for Roy G Biv 3 - Blue, update 3

Welcome to the Search for Roy G Biv.

Mother's Day afternoon was spent at a little carnival.

While the girls enjoyed the rides, I took a few photos.
Enjoy the rest of my blues!

The fireplace of the house where the Stitching Summit took place
in March was adorned with ceramic tiles. I loved this quiet little piece.

 Habu's delicious threads

At the Museum of Art & Design - hold an object in front of the camera
and it reproduces it as fractals (I think...couldn't find any info)

Love the gentleman trying to slip by on the right.

  1. Good morning, Jennifer - your visual blues have chased my emotional ones away this morning! I especially love the carnival opening shot. More blue over at my place - thanks for the challenge!

  2. What a nice selection of blues! And I liked the (in some cases subtle) continuity/links between some of your images, like the ceramic tiles & the threads (yes - delicious!), the interactive "fractal" exhibit & the sculpture, and the geometric fabrics/dishes.
Thanks for including a link to my blues too...

    1. I'd love to be able to say that the continuity/links between the photos was planned...as they usually are, but not this time. It was pure serendipity. Enjoy!

  4. Wow - you really have a fantastic and huge selection of blue items here, Jennifer! That kiddie coaster sign is classic, and I'm fascinated by that blue sculpture in NYC. I have posted my blues today as well.

    1. Seems we had the same weather last week. After a gorgeous weekend, the monsoon season descended, but stopped to give us another beautiful weekend. Being that's it Monday, I'm sure the rain will be back. Enjoy!

    1. Your misty blues are wonderful - just the right feel after a very busy weekend at our house. I can imagine grabbing a cup of tea, something to sit on, my camera and strolling down to sit at the water's edge for a bit of peace and quiet. Ahhhh.....

I was a little late posting my gardening blues, but I'm anxious to begin searching for Indigo.

  9. I think my favorite was the man carrying the balloons. Don't see that were I live. Cows yeah, bunches of balloons being walked down the road, no.

    1. That's my favorite too. It was such a surprise to see the balloons emerge from a van and begin strolling down the street. The carrier was never visible - other than the legs. Saw purple balloons a year or so ago in nearly the same spot. No cows though. Now THAT would be a surprise! Enjoy!
