Searching for Roy G Biv 3 - Yellow - update 2

It's a quirk of the calendar, yet apropos that March's color in the search for Roy G Biv is yellow and that today is the first day of spring. What better way to celebrate spring than with the color that universally represents sunshine, happiness and warmth?

Desiring more sun and warmth, but Mother Nature isn't cooperating? Head on over to Julie's, Maya's and Fiona's. As usual, I'll be updating this post throughout the day when new yellows appear. Just leave a note to insure I don't miss you. Thanks! Happy Spring!!!

If you know of others who have joined in the search, just let Julie or myself know and we'll be happy to link to them.

  1. Loving that yellow car. Driving that car, one would have to be smiling ear to ear. I also joined in on March Madness Yellow! www.jeudaly.blogspot.com

  2. Loving your yellow "discoveries"! I think I've been spending way too much time inside and not out with my camera. Hope to have some "fresh" green next month.

    1. I can totally understand being inside most of the time. The last few snow storms have hit your area harder than mine. Does allow good time for editing that book though. How's it going?

  3. Thanks, Jennifer. Loved the kids' mosaic! I am searching for Roy G Biv at my house, not my year for traveling.

    1. Isn't the peace sign great? It's painted on the side of a garage in a nearby town. I'd love to know who lives there, but haven't the courage to knock on the door. Thank you for joining in the fun again!

    1. Thanks Wyn! The arrow is the parking garage where I leave the car before catching the train into New York and seemed very appropriate...although I almost didn't post it.

Won't you join in the fun next month? We're searching for greens....

    1. It's still odd to think I've friends who live so far away that they're in the opposite season. Yes, spring is officially here, but it seems someone forgot to tell Mother Nature...or she's just enjoying throwing snow storms our too much to stop. Another one is moving through this week. Can I come visit now? Please? One day...

    1. Didn't you feel like doing a happy dance outside on the first day of spring to encourage Mother Nature to keep up the good work - and sun...and warm temps...and all? Our first day of spring was cold and cloudy. The next was gorgeous so my daughters kept calling it the first day of spring. Couldn't fault them for that. Enjoy!

  13. I love your quirky collection of symbols & signs & such, Jennifer! And you've turned the yellow turning arrow into a work of art - when I saw the thumbnail in my blog role I thought it was a painting or a drawing : )
Thanks, too, for including links to my yellow for the month...

    1. Ha! Thanks for the laugh about the yellow arrow. Just too funny. It's in the parking garage where I park before catching the train to New York. Seemed to me to be pointing the way to a fun day and lots of yellows.
