Searching for Roy G Biv 3 - Orange, update 3

I have to admit that this round of Roy snuck up on me. Thankfully, Julie posted a reminder over the weekend! Is it possible for too much snow to addle one's brain? That's how it feels. An injection of orange in my diet is just what was needed. Being that the world outside is rather white at the moment, I searched through my photos for oranges yet unseen. Enjoy!

taken at a pizza place in Stamford, CT - I couldn't resist

worn steps at ABC Carpet & Home in New York

placemat at a home goods store in Philadelphia

chairs at the Delaware House Service Area on route 95

 Kate's Paperie in Soho, NYC

section of Kwoma Ceiling at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC

rust at Marvin Gardens, Wilton CT

Craving more orange? Stroll on over to see what delights Julie, Fiona and Maya are sharing. If you follow Velma of Wake Robin, you'll know that she's in Australia right now teaching classes. Being that her post today includes oranges, I thought to include it on the list. Stay tuned for updates as others join in the search for Roy.

Bridgette has oranges from around her house including a shot of her dining room. Got a nice little chuckle from that because the shot below is of my living room.

Charlton has part of an old hot air balloon among her treasures.

Sharmon's photos had me oohing and aahing, but it's the last 2 from Berea, KY that tugged at my heart. You see, I went to Berea College. Yes. It is a small whirled.

Yarngoddess searched for Roy around the house as well. Love the variety - especially the Popped Rice Snacks.

India has the most enchanting dress. If only I was 24 again...

-------------------------------------------------------

Mary Ann at Blue Sky Dreaming has stones and monotypes in warm oranges.

Susan of flying dog studio says orange is one of her favorite colors. Stroll over to see the goodies she's sharing.

Lisa at arzigogolare always has the most thoughtful posts...which never fail to leave me yearning to visit her and explore Florence...Italy, that is. It's on my one day list.

------------------------------------------------------

Jill of Recycled Daze has an orange crush. Who can blame her? Me too, truth be told.

Francoise of Creatilfun is sharing a variety of oranges. The last one is tugs at my heart.

  6. Hi, Jennifer! Thanks for hosting the challenge - I am sliding in just under the wire with my orange finds. I think my favorite of your wonderful photos is the worn stairs at the carpet place.
Happy weekend, and hope for an end to snow real soon,

    1. Glad you have you join in again Susan! The steps at ABC are wonderful. I've been there twice (so far) and have photographed the steps each time. The store itself is fascinating, but so full that I've yet to get a good shot to share. One day.

How's the snow up your way? You must think me a wimp with our little bit here...I am a winter wimp. Sad, but true. Have a great weekend!

  9. So much to enjoy here - especially the pigs and queen Victoria ... and that yarn-bombing. I've not seen much of that here in the UK ... now there's a thought (if I did but knit)!
