Yes - where did the last seven months go? I enjoyed seeing your purples - I especially love the patterns of squiggles & wiggles in your stitching, the cross section of the cabbage and the second yarn-bombed tree...
The cabbage was loads of fun to photograph. I'd attempted to dye with it in the spring...a total flop!@#@!...but it did yield some interesting shots before going in the dye pot.
Ha! This shot is from our Boston trip this spring. The children's museum has a lighted (lit? backlit? or just plain light floor?) floor on which to play various games. I lucked out with this shot of the purple and Ellie's foot.
I should get back to my purple stitches...started when I was feeling light...and at Hilton Head for a week. Guess being near the water does that to me. Harold and The Purple Crayon! Forgot all about that. Thanks for the reminder!!!
You're very welcome Jackie. It's only been in the past year or so that green tea held any appeal for me...drinking-wise, that is. Maybe my tastes are changing with age? Enjoy playing with it!
Your stitches and that crazy bag are my favourites. Sorry I couldn't participate in the contest (again) but viewing the other participants' entries is a real pleasure.
I love the yarn bombed trees--what a wonderful idea!
ReplyDeleteThe trees are great...so colorful and playful.
DeleteLove the trees, whoever has done these has really gone to town
ReplyDeleteThe local knitting shop sponsored the yarn bombing. There are 3 or 4 more trees that received a yarn wrap...all along Main Street too!
DeleteA great selection - it's always amazing how different everyone's posts are ...
ReplyDeleteWhat's next?
Next? Hmmm...not quite sure yet.
