Day 1 of Tactile Notebooks and the Written Word with Sandra Brownlee began with
the giving and receiving of gifts,
a bit of show and tell,
a story of sorts,
and a stroll through Newburgh
to visit the River Tay
where sage was lit
as part of a smudging ceremony.
The mud marks caught my eye
as did
a few rusty bits.
The afternoon found Christine and I
returning to the River Tay
to dip our brushes in the mud.
Quite a memorable first day.

i see you caught that odd-looking extra-terrestrial, watering a flying saucer seed in the hope it would magically grow into a navigable craft....
ReplyDeleteI did. After all, how often does one see an extra-terrestrial attempting to grow a flying saucer...or get to hear the mystical sounds produced in the watering process? Many thanks for allowing the eavesdropping..
