My favorites in this post are flow by Ainsley Hillard and Morpheous by Terry Jarrard-Dimond. Both have an ethereal quality that drew me in and had me standing up close and personal. Yes. I was in each work's personal space without actually touching (or being reprimanded by Pam or an official of the Center for standing so close).

As with Sandra Jane Heard's Vestiges of Emancipation and Roz Ritter's Love Letters (FI part 1, Love Letters is the last piece shown), the level of skill, imagination, creativity and just all round talent shown in these two pieces left me in awe of the artists.

By the way, do you know that if you'd like a closer look at one of the photos, particularly the detail shots, just click on the photo to get a slideshow of all those shown in any post. I keep wanting to have the details as the largest photos, but...

Stay tuned for part 3.

I find that sometimes it's the overall effect of a piece that I find appealing, while other times it's a specific section/detail...

    1. I agree. Then again, my favorite photos of this trip are some of the detail shots...kind of a little microcosm in each. Glad you're enjoying the work shown too - part 3 is coming soon. And then there's DC...

    1. I know exactly how you feel - only for me it is the reverse. I suppose the best of both worlds would be figuring out how to combine the two. One day perhaps...
