I swore to myself...and Pam...that I wasn't going to do it. Wasn't going to leave a piece rusting while we're on vacation. Didn't want to over tax a rusty bit. They were all going to have nice little break too.
However, the temptation to do so and my own curiosity were just too strong to resist.
A 60" x 72" piece of cotton, that soaked most of the afternoon, was just bundled up around a gorgeously rusted, heavy as can be, single circle of iron.
The very same one, in fact, that produced the lovely circles on the right above. It's currently resting comfortably in a bag by the window where it can soak up some sun. Not sure if that really has any effect, but it's a good resting place. After all, that rusty circle is going to be working pretty hard until we return.
Now...back to packing!
ahhhhhhhhhhh...
ReplyDeleteresting in the sun
this is the thing
rest
let it go
come back later
surprise...
enjoy
your time away
and
although
I am tempted
chances are
your big rusty circle
will be safe
home alone...
tee hee,
xox - eb.
Oh!
DeleteYour "tee hee"
nearly sent
jasmine tea
flying across,
and flowing into,
my keyboard
just now.
The rusty circle,
while reclining in the sun,
won't be totally alone...
although those passing through
will pay it no mind.
It's safe
in its resting place
to work its magic
and surprise me when we return.
Enjoy the waiting.
