Thought I'd give you an update on the stitching that was started on the drive to the beach. The last couple days in Corolla, my injured toe was feeling a bit better so more time was spent playing with the girls...mostly at the pool since the ocean water was very cold and filled with stinging jellyfish. Yuck! Plus, the girls were having too much fun learning to swim. They can do a mean doggy paddle!
The largest section of rust was stitched during the 9+ hour drive to the beach. And I can confidently recommend that french knots are not exactly car-ride-stitching friendly. Got sore fingers to prove it.
I do plan to continue working on this, most likely while watching tv at night, so stay tuned.
