    1. That water is from a weekend trip to Boston that Pam & I took in 2013. We had plans to sit and stitch by the water. Instead, we sat by the water, sighed, pointed out a boat or two, sighed some more, ate at a great restaurant (the same one every night), sat by the water again, sighed.....repeated as needed. It was heavenly.

    2. The perfect back story to that water - love it!

  2. Love all those blues...but especially the drawing and the watery reflections.

    1. The drawing is a little treasure found in a surprising spot. At Art on Paper, the restaurant upstairs had covered all the tables with paper and set out cups of crayons. Don't know if this was the norm as I'd never been to the venue before. Strolling among the tables showed each had at least one very good drawing...not by the same person. It was tempting to tear this one out of the whole and take it home...but I resisted and photographed it instead.

    1. Thank you Sharmon! I have to admit that I'm a photography junkie, rarely without my camera. I take photos all year with a mind of using some for Roy G Biv. Travel photos are the best though. Enjoy!

    1. The horses are all over the Outer Banks, particularly Duck and Corolla, in North Carolina. Not sure which art group had artists paint them, but they such fun to see. You probably can't tell from my photo, but they're also life sized. Enjoy!

    1. Thank you Wyn! The horse and water are definitely the favorites this month. The water is my favorite - it's so blue because of reflecting the gloriously brilliant blue skies that graced the weekend. The brownish part is a nearby office building. I really need to revisit that set of photos and use them.... Enjoy!

  7. I always feel like I've "traveled" when I see the selection of images you post for ROY. The train departures made me a little homesick for the US (had the chance to take the train from Williamsburg to NYC last summer!), and the blue stripes among the rainbow colors in your Convention Center photo really make the whole piece come together...inspiring!

    1. You were in NY last summer? You were only a little over an hour away. How lovely it would have been to meet if you'd had the time. Next time please? Enjoy!
