Again, I'd like to request that if you happen to post any of my photos of the work in Odd Volumes to another site (pinterest, tumblr), you take care to credit the artist and to give me photo credit as well. All photos were taken by me on January 29, 2015. Thank you!

There is one more post of work in Odd Volumes to come. It seemed that I'd photographed nearly every piece in the exhibit, but in actuality it was only 40. Two are not being posted because I neglected to photograph the tag and cannot give proper artist credit.

Stay tuned!

    1. You are most welcome Fiona! Really is a shame you and Barry didn't visit this year....just saying...we could have seen some truly exquisite art together this time round to make up for the truly horrid art at MOMA last year. Ha! Enjoy!

    1. You're very welcome Debbie. The lead book is exquisite as are so many others in the exhibit. Still, to create a book of lead and have viewers want to pick it up and turn the pages...wonderful. Enjoy!

  4. The asemic writing in Book by Maria Lai made me want to see more ... and to touch, oh how I would love to be able to touch it and turn the page. Would there be words on the other side???

    1. Liz, I have to confess that I stood and viewed that book from just about every angle possible...short of actually picking it up - which, of course, I yearned to do. It is incredible. Her asemic writing had me imagining the story...a collection of treasured love letters...or so it seemed to me. Made me wonder what Maria Lai was thinking when she created it. Enjoy!

    1. You're most welcome Seth! It is a magnificent collection of artist's books. I only wish I'd found out about the exhibit sooner so more visits would have been possible. Enjoy!
