Again, I'd
like to request that if you happen to post any of my photos of the work in Odd Volumes to another
site (pinterest, tumblr), you take care to credit the artist and to give
me photo credit as well. All photos were taken by me on January 29,
2015. Thank you! Stay tuned - there are more.
So thought provoking ... especially the Shakespeare. Thank goodness for galleries and artists willing to allow photography.
ReplyDeleteYes. Yes. And yes. I totally agree with you. Seeing exhibits such as this gives one reason to ponder just what it is that makes a book...or an artist book...
DeleteHow amazing these are. They really expand thoughts around What is a book? - extrordinary!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a really fascinating show, Jennifer....
ReplyDeleteIt was Sharmon. I only wish I'd learned of it sooner so a second...or third...trip could be made. There were many pieces that were only glanced at and now I long for a good, close look. Too late though as the show closed Feb 1.
DeleteI am amazed.... thank you for the tour!
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome!
DeleteThank you thank you thank you! I had known this was happening but had no way of getting to see it, so you have made my day! What a stunning show and I imagine an amazing space to be in with them all. Did it take a long time to go through each one, to stop and look and investigate and admire and...? Sorry, but I am off on an imaginary visit!! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGlad to have made your day Fiona! There are two more posts of the exhibition to come. I can't believe it was so near me (only about 45 minutes away) and I almost missed it. Did you hear me talking to you and Susan and Pam from time to time? Your ears should have burning because there was running commentary going on in my head with the 3 of you. Does that sound crazy...or make me crazy? Best not answer that....
DeleteAmazing works. Thanks for the photos and the chance to "visit" the show. Pinned with credit https://www.pinterest.com/pin/88101736437030330/
