Nice of you to pop over from Judy's.

In my previous art life - pre-move to CT from VA and pre-adopting twin girls from China - I was a basketry artist and while I loved cloth even then, it had no part in my art. Last winter I went on a rusting spree and now have a studio full of rusted cottons and organza that beg to be turned into something other than art cloth. Hand-stitching has been my way of stitching rather than via machine. So, as funny as it sounds, I truly have done very little machine stitching. That will change though.

Come back and visit soon. Enjoy!Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10927317459104273331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7143591766928521449.post-40413780185905477122012-09-12T11:23:17.249-04:002012-09-12T11:23:17.249-04:00After finishing the section of stitching yesterday...After finishing the section of stitching yesterday, I can honestly saw that it was meditative and addictive...and inspiring. Try as I might, the lines kept veering just the slightest bit every now and then. After a few rows, I loved it. There will be more not so straight lines to come.
